Bloggers.

Just checking in for the first time in a while. Seems like I have been on quite a few websites lately, except this one. Check the below.

Quick link to my first Dispatches Blog I did for Snowboardermag.com here.
Stef Zeestraten has also been blogging. Here is a super fun day we had at Northstar.

The 'Go Seek' blog is also in business. There have been some hectic days combined with a few days that have been more mellow due to conditions. Check the evidence here.

There are also some videos from the Shakedown in Seattle that I got 4th in. Check the finals edit here.

Out of Japan and now in America.

My host brother Yuuta, just sent me through these images.
My last post was just days before the tragedy hit Japan. I wish all the best to everyone involved. Am sure anyone in Christchurch can relate to this as well.

Here is a link from the Ride Shakedown in Snoqualmie, just out of Seattle.

I was stoked to Qualify in 2nd. Nick Brown qualified for the finals as well. It was so much fun. Good jump and a sick format! I ended up just out of the money in 4th place.

14 year old Japanese spinner, and almost winner, Yuuki Kadono came 2nd and is donating half his US$8000 winnings to the Tsunami relief fund.

Japan!

Japan has always treated me well, but this year took the cake. After a month of trains, planes, powder and a whole lot more sun than usual in Japan I can happily say it was an amazing trip!

I have put together this horrible mashup of clips to best explain how the month went down. Unfortunately there is a lack of footage from my time in Hokkaido, but the rest is history.

Warning: If you don't like watching amateurs pour their hearts out in Karaoke - don't hit play!

Enjoy desu!

3CS.

It has been heaps of fun here in Park City. The park has been good and the snow has been awesome.

After a whole lot of stress and tracking and Emails I got my new outerwear on Friday. SO stoked!

It is from my new sponsor 3CS. The outerwear is really nice and feels like amazing quality. Stoked on how it went and how it looks.

We also went to Rail Gardens on Wednesday night and got some night footage. Will post a link to the Sponsor This? edit when it is finished.

Here are a couple of photos from Friday.

Northern Hemisphere 2011.

Here is an edit from the first day riding of 2011. I have been in the Northern Hemisphere for 10 days or so now and here is the first bit of filming I have been into. Theo Muse is helping Brett Wilson make some Sponsor This? edits. He has a Go Pro camera and a suction cup. He stuck it to my board and did a couple of follow cam runs. Here is how it turned out. Thank you Theo!

We also went to Rail Gardens last night and got a few more things there. There should be another edit coming out soon. Until then - Happy New Year 2011!

Some edits from the New Zealand season. Better late than never.

Here are a few edits that got made from the New Zealand season.

1. This edit is from Snowpark in September. A few runs down the rail line.

2. This is from July at Snowpark.

3. This a Snodice session from up at The Remarkables in July. Roll the dice and see what trick you have to do.

4. This is a game of SHRED at Cardrona in September. The snow equivalent of SKATE but on a whole bunch of different features.

Not too many more days until the Northern Hemisphere season for me now. I will try to keep the blog updated.

Made You Look.

Just to celebrate (or reluctantly admit) not blogging for 4 months (or 1/3 of the year!) I thought I had better update this blog. I have been blogging on the Diariesdownunder.com blog but this page has been severely neglected.

A few links here to share with you.

Somehow I got an Eagle this day! The 9s I got before and after the eagle drained my total though. Dutty putts one in here while C-walking.
Obviously in the middle of another normal game of tennis here.

Replacing this shock took 6 hours..the other side took 2 hours.

Bit of a Timeline.

This past season was Bangin' to say the least. A whole heap of travel, good friends, resorts and experiences all tucked under the belt. It is crazy being back in New Zealand - it feels like the past 3 and a half months were just a blur of good times. It is easy to forget about the travel stress and other crap and just remember the trip for being awesome. Snowboarding has lent me some good times lately that is FOR SURE. Am now looking forward to doing it all again here in New Zealand but until then check out some photos off my phone of my travels.
Check the bottom video out too.

Jawdropping fireworks bringing in the New Year at The Canyons, Park City.

The Nanshan Open in China - Yup, China has Red Bull girls.

Checked out The Great Wall of China with Browner - this thing can't be understated - humans are crazy.

Nothing is done by halves in China - the buildings are no exception - the driving argy bargy isn't either.

It is no secret that Bear Mountain has an amazing park. Was rad to get another day there.

Yakiniku is the best -
especially after a day of riding feet of fluffy in Hokkaido.
